Home!

Well this concludes our trip. It was a fun one, unfortunately all the cool drama wasn't started by our class, but by others outside of our class. We were in that bus for about 18 hours, 18 long hours. Natasha doesn't text so time goes by very slow. Nothing too special on the way home, I heard that Pat is getting a new job for Keystone, but that's it. Well I'm going to sleep

We're going home, going home, tell the world, we're going home

Well not too much happened yesterday :( I guess the only really cool thing is that when we were at the Washington monument, there was some unatteneded luggage and a bomb dog. So there was three swat guys and three arabs that everyone from our school, myself included, were a little jumpy around.

There were also some pretty sweet museums! The newseum was my favorite it really showed the importance of news and such. Then there was the museum of natural history where there were a ton of Mrs. Servais pictures. oh and history too. All were cool, but there was very limited time.

We also saw a couple pieces of paper, that our founding fathers wrote on.

The monuments were awesome, I got a million pictures...well like 800. I had to buy a 4 gig memory card to replace my 2 gig, and now the 4 gig is almost full!

Well that's all we watched the shawshank redemption last night, and were able to sleep in today. Off to hershey ville!

It's Crazy here!!!

Well two nights ago i thought I was going to be able to blog about people going crazy in DC because Usama's dead, but there was nothing huge going on here :( The cops were called to the hotel that night for underage drinking, and it wasn't even one of our classmates!!!!

The next day we toured the capitol building. It was dry at points, but I like all this history stuff. During an instructional movie, a woman was breast feeding, and I'm sure you can guess who made a huge deal about that...

Later that day we met senator grassley, and boy was I excited!

After the capitol, we went to one of two smitsonian's american indian or air and space. They were quite cool.

Then it was to Ford's Theatre and the baseball game.

Now for the Climax!

Late that night, Hallie, Tanner, Jalen, Shane, and Terrance were playing euchre. When a guy was staring at Hallie. She decided to wave at him to divert his gaze. He responded to which with anger out of nowhere because she was of dark skin and a woman. She was chewed out. A fight almost started, but everyone was really dumbfounded.

I guess we're not in Iowa anymore...

The Government does not know who to Watch!

Ok so first day in DC we got a great tour from Mrs. Opperman's brother or something and he knew his stuff. We did our whole thing where we go to the white house, and boy was one of the protesters interesting!

The man claimed that the FBI has been harassing him for years for no reason and that he has nothing...besides a bull horn that he used very frequently. The government hating this guy was just to much for him to handle.

I say that the government is watching the wrong people because Ethan Libke, oh boy, is the one that should be watched. For any reason including comedy. His form of enertainment on the bus tonight was taking a tampon used or unused and shoving it in people's faces and singing into it. Oh man that is mature!

So not too much in the way of drama yet, but I'm seeing a lot of potential! People are annoyed and sleep deprived. The ones that are really annoyed will go on name but anyone that has known them for more than a week could likely figure it out.

That's all for now folks!

In the DC

Just as people were getting moody enough to start having drama!

We had an eventful night at the movies last night. While a small party was watching the Conspiritor a girl just started screaming, "Don't touch, Don't you ever touch me! " Turns out she was using her cell phone to text and an older couple wasn't happy, so while the wife got management, the husband put his hands around her neck.

We got back to the hotel and slept.

The next day (today) we went to Gettysburg for a long tour. There was cool imagery and now we are at the hotel after riding the bus!

Here in the Gettysburg!

Well we recently arrived at the Hotel and boy is it nice! Wow it was a long bus ride and despite my best efforts to spread drama, nobody was at each other's throats. The toliet on the bus overflowed...just kidding. Sleeping was terrible because it's a bus, don't sleep on a bus unless you want to be uncomfortable. Mt. Hosmer picnic tables are a much better choice for sleeping. And I'm not crazy yet despite my bus/room partner and lack of sleep!
